2016年12月，首屆世界工業(yè)設計大會在杭州良渚勝利召開，作為工業(yè)設計領域的全球盛事，大會得到了國際媒體的廣泛關注，多家國際媒體對大會盛況進行報道，這是中國設計和創(chuàng)新領域在世界鄭重發(fā)聲，大會開放、包容、合作、共享的宗旨得到國際媒體的強烈關注，國際社會紛紛認同世界工業(yè)設計大會推動世界設計產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的引領推動作用！
The World Industrial Design Conference in Liangzhu, China has just finished. The WIDC is a global event in the context of development in industrial design co-founded by the China Industrial Design Association and national design organizations, institutions, enterprises and universities and colleges from over 26 countries and regions. Italy was represented by ADI – Association for Industrial Design – by the President Luciano Galimberti together with Prof.ssa Marinella Ferrara and Davide Conti, General Manager ADI China.
The purpose of the WIDC is to act as an important platform for communication and cooperation in the field of design, and for considering design as representing the integrity of originality, morality, emotion and aesthetics having developed as an effective route through which to promote the value of industries and quality of life.
Design should respect the ecological harmony between humans and the environment, resolutely protect designers’ intellectual property and other related rights and keep encouraging the design industry to take the lead in developing the new economy. China is demonstrating how it is constantly possible to create new business opportunities through design, and this conference highlighted the enormous power that the nation is simultaneously bringing to bear both internally and around the world.
The 3 days of the event also saw the China Excellent Industrial Design exhibition, a showcase for the works submitted for appraisal and selection by CEID, the China Excellent Industrial Design Award which is the only and the highest industrial design award sponsored by the Chinese government. This exhibition highlighted the latest in Chinese design achievements which include a number of programmes that are considered to be of national priority, such as intelligent robots, innovation & entrepreneurship, investment banking and much more.
Guided by the principle of communication, cooperation and mutual benefit, the design organizations from different countries signed the cooperation memorandum to promote collaboration between them.
During the Design Development Round Table Summit, the vice president of CIDA Prof. Ying Fangtian closed the meeting by stating:
“Design must integrate technology, business and culture together with the needs of the end user. Design demands innovation, ethics, emotion and aesthetics. There is a pressing need to create new products, systems and services for the world with the aim of improving the quality of industry and life. This is the power that you can bring to the world. This is the productivity of design”.

首屆世界工業(yè)設計大會近日在中國良渚圓滿落幕。大會是由中國工業(yè)設計協(xié)會與來自全球各地26個國家及地區(qū)的設計組織、機構、企業(yè)以及院校聯(lián)合發(fā)起的全球盛會。意大利全國工業(yè)設計協(xié)會（ADI）主席盧西亞諾·加林佩蒂先生、副主席瑪利亞·費拉拉教授代表意大利出席大會。

設計應尊重人與環(huán)境和諧相處的生態(tài)文明，并堅決保護知識產(chǎn)權等創(chuàng)意設計者的相關權益，一如既往鼓勵支持設計產(chǎn)業(yè)在引領新經(jīng)濟中的重要作用。中國向世界展示要如何通過設計不斷地創(chuàng)造新的商業(yè)機會，本次大會讓世界看到了中國日漸強大的影響力。
大會同期舉辦中國優(yōu)秀工業(yè)設計獎（CEID）優(yōu)秀作品展，中國優(yōu)秀工業(yè)設計獎是中國工業(yè)設計領域唯一的國家級政府獎項，本次展出優(yōu)秀作品體現(xiàn)了中國的設計成果，其中還包括一些國家級優(yōu)先方案，如智能機器人，創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)，投資銀行等。
在溝通，合作，互惠互利的原則指導下，來自不同國家的設計機構還簽署了合作備忘錄來促進彼此之間的合作。
中國工業(yè)設計協(xié)會副會長應放天在WIDC2016設計發(fā)展圓桌峰會上說道：設計必須融合技術，商業(yè)，文化與終端用戶的需求。設計以獨創(chuàng)，道德，情感和美學的力量，提高工業(yè)和生活的質(zhì)量，設計需要為世界創(chuàng)造新的產(chǎn)品，系統(tǒng)和服務，這是設計帶給世界的力量，而這就是設計·生產(chǎn)力。
